Gallery One offers prints, artwork and other interesting objects in an art gallery-style store located in London's Covent Garden
Based in Covent Garden’s market square, the gallery and store is in a grade 2* listed building of special historic interest. Therefore the design needed to be sympathetic to the building. In order to get that harmony Railston retained many of the natural features. Every display unit was bespoke to fit into the unique spaces giving a clean line to all the unitry. Lighting was also key, and a challenge, in such as small space. Railston put in 3 lighting rafts on the ground floor which provided an overall ambient light. Both Railston and the client were delighted with the final look.
